Kroll Direct Marketing has been awarded list management of Science News Magazine.
Plainsboro, NJ: Effective May 1, 2006, Kroll Direct Marketing assumed list management of the Science News subscriber list.
The only science news weekly in the country, the list includes over 120,980 teachers, scientists, executives and other science enthusiasts. Over 70% of subscribers are from outside the scientific field and pay up to $54.50 annually for the publication.
Published by Science Service, a non-profit organization with a mission to advance the understanding and appreciation of science through publications and educational programs, Science News reports on a wide variety of fascinating issues ranging from fossils and earthquakes to biological sciences and aerospace. Readers are well educated and affluent and rely on Science News for comprehensive information on the latest developments and discoveries in science and technology, as well as math and engineering.
"We are very excited to have the opportunity to manage this exceptional, high quality subscriber list," said Lee Kroll, president of Kroll Direct Marketing. "The majority of the subscriptions have been sold via direct mail, and the list should produce excellent results for high end consumer catalogers, upscale consumer and business publications, environmental, medical and scientific fundraisers and financial services as well." Base rate on the list is $90/M and selection charges range from $10 - $15/M. Current selections available include hotlines, business address, gender, source and geography, although the team at Kroll expects to introduce additional selections.
